Imer Direct (GB) Ltd, started in 1995 as RDS Supplies Ltd, a business partnership.
RDS Supplies aim was to successfully re-introduce the IMER brand to the British market, growth through the first twelve moths was rapid leading to three relocations in those months. During this period Maber construction hoists, and Vlutters rubbish chutes were added to the portfolio. Providing a wide spectrum of products available to the construction market.
Again rapid growth followed and at Hirex 1999 RDS Supplies changed its name to IMER Direct (GB) Ltd, and later that year became a subsidiary of IMER International S.p.A. Further growth enabled the introduction of more product lines with the introduction of the securpulley, hoist barrow, and conveyors.
IMER Direct and IMER International saw major changes into the new century, two relocations since the turn of the century have seen improvements in the facilities available to both IMER Direct and to the customer, whilst the acquisition of L&T Truckmixers and La Officine Riunute (ORU) by IMER International led to a global restructure and a new name IMER Group.
Imer Direct’s venture into the world of ready-mix, pre-cast and transport of concrete products has provided steady growth since the inception of a dedicated Concrete Division providing expertise and support to a wide range of clients.
Imer Direct’s philosophy has always been to try and introduce new ideas to the market place, whilst always maintaining the ethos that true quality is not just the lowest price, it must also include the best service and backup.
